Between explores the fragile, suspended state of migration — the experience of living between places without a stable sense of home or a clear vision of the future.

The installation consists of 19 small ceramic and porcelain houses, each formed from four walls with no floor or roof. The individual walls are bound together with thread and suspended from the ceiling.

Balancing in space, these fragile structures have no solid ground beneath them. The threads become the only element holding the walls together, suggesting both vulnerability and an ongoing attempt to rebuild a sense of home under new and uncertain conditions.

The work was conceived and created specifically for the 2026 artspace bremerhaven festival in Germany.
